The problem with feeding your dog typical mashed sweet potatoes is that many people will add sugar, butter, and other dairies that can easily upset your dogs stomach. In this mashed sweet potato recipe we have only included healthy ingredients that will leave your pup feeling happy, full, and most importantly... loved.
You will need:
4 medium – small sweet potatoes
¼ cup – finely cut parsley
2 teaspoons of olive oil
Boil the sweet potatoes until they are tender (about 9-12 minutes)
Drain the water and mash the potatoes until they are completely smooth.
Add in your parsley and Olive Oil.
If they are not mashing, you can add in a splash of coconut milk until you reach the desired texture.
Let the mashed sweet potatoes come down to room temperature before you feed them to your dog
